This policy explains what personal data Amber Meridian collects when you contact us, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible

What we collect
Only what the quote request form asks for, and nothing more: — your name — your company — your email address — your phone number — the message you write We do not ask for, and have no use for, special categories of data. The form has no hidden fields and we do not buy or enrich contact data from third parties.
Why we use it
To read your enquiry, prepare a quote, and correspond with you about it. That is the only purpose. We do not use form submissions for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Our legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Where an enquiry does not lead to a contract, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping a record of business correspondence.
Who else sees it
Your submission is delivered to us by email and passes through the service providers that run this site: — Resend, which delivers the email — Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps short-term server logs — Google, for the analytics and marketing tags described in our Cookie Policy, and only if you accept cookies These providers process the data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EEA
Our providers above are based in the United States, and one of our offices is in Hong Kong, so your data may be handled outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, or by an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as we need them to answer you and to handle any business relationship that follows, together with any period that commercial or tax law requires of us. Server logs are kept only briefly, for security and diagnostics. When data is no longer needed for either reason, it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to: — give you a copy of the data we hold about you — correct it if it is wrong — delete it — restrict or object to how we use it — send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable form Write to info@amber-meridian.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
